Gold soars to Rs 113,300 per tola

February 1, 2021 (MLN): Gold prices extended their gain today for a second consecutive day, as the price of 24 karat gold in the domestic bullion market, jumped further by Rs 350 to Rs 113,300 per tola against the price of Rs 112,950 per tola reported yesterday.

According to the data provided by the All Sindh Saraf Jewellers Association, the price of 10-gram of 24k gold also increased by Rs 300 and was sold for Rs 97, 136 at the closing of trade as opposed to Rs 96,836 reported yesterday.

On a similar note, the price of silver tola and 10 grams of silver witnessed an increase of Rs 60 and Rs 51.45 to sold at Rs 1,430 and Rs 1,226 respectively, the association reported.

In the international market, precious metal’s price surged by USD 12 and traded at USD 1,860 per ounce against USD 1,848 per ounce recorded yesterday, while silver was valued at 29.44 an ounce.
