Gold remains bullish, gains Rs 400 on Tuesday

January 5, 2021 (MLN): Safe-haven asset remained bullish on Tuesday. In the domestic bullion market, the price of 24 karat gold increased by Rs 400 to Rs 116,000 against the price of  Rs 115,600 per tola reported in the previous session.

According to the data compiled by the All Sindh Saraf and Jewellers Association, the price of 10-gram gold increased by Rs 343, to stand at Rs 99,451 against the price of  Rs 99,108 reported yesterday.

On the other hand, the price of silver tola and 10-gram silver tola remained static at Rs 1,400 and Rs 1,200.27, respectively.

In the international market, the gold rates moved up by $15 to $1,948 an ounce, while the price of silver stood at $27.50 an ounce.
