Gold rates recouped after yesterday’s fall

December 15, 2020 (MLN): Gold prices edged higher on Tuesday in domestic bullion market as the price of 24 karat gold rose by Rs.500 to Rs 111,000 against the price of Rs 110,500 per tola reported on yesterday.

According to the data released by the All Sindh Saraf Jewellers Association, the price of 10-gram gold also grew by Rs.429 to Rs 95,165 against the price of Rs 94,736 reported in the previous session.

On the other hand, the price of silver tola and 10-gram silver remained static at Rs 1,200 and Rs 1,028.80 respectively, the association reported.

In the international market, the fresh covid-related restrictions in many parts of the world due to rising covid-19 cases and a weak dollar supported gold as its price witnessed increase of US$20 and traded at US$ 1,844 per ounce, while silver was pegged at US$ 24.24 an ounce.
