Gold rates move up by Rs500 per tola

July 5, 2021 (MLN): Safe-haven gold on Monday rebounded again in the domestic bullion market after taking a breather in the previous session. The price of 24-karat gold surged by Rs500 in the domestic bullion market to close the trade at Rs109,500 per tola.

The precious yellow metal had closed at Rs109,000 per tola on Saturday.

Similarly, the price of 10-gram of 24k gold also went up by Rs429 and traded at Rs93,879 while the 10gm 22k gold valued at Rs85,055, as per the data provided by the All Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association.

Further, the association reported that the price of 24-Karat silver per tola and 10-gram silver also witnessed an increase of Rs30 and Rs 25.72 to settle at Rs1,440 and Rs1,234.56, respectively.

Internationally, the gold price has shown an uptick as it inched up by $5 and traded at $1,792 while Silver was valued at $26.20.
