Gold rates jump by Rs900 to stand at Rs108,550

May 20, 2021(MLN): The price of gold continued to surge today in the domestic bullion market, as the price of 24 karat gold jumped by Rs900 to close at Rs108,550 per tola against the price of Rs107,650 per tola reported in the previous session.

According to the data provided by All Sindh Saraf Jewellers Association, the price of 10-gram of 24k gold also increased by Rs772 and was sold for Rs93,064 at the closing of trade as opposed to Rs92,292 reported yesterday.

However, silver rates remained unchanged at Rs1,420 per tola. The price of 10 grams of silver also stood the same at Rs1,217.42

In the international market, gold prices went down by $16 and traded at $1,870per ounce against $1,854 per ounce recorded yesterday while silver was valued at $27.80 an ounce.
