Gold rates further escalate by Rs750 to close at Rs109,300

May 21, 2021(MLN): The price of gold jumped by Rs750 today in the domestic bullion market, as the price of 24 karat gold close at Rs109,300 per tola against the price of Rs108,550 per tola reported in the previous session.

According to the data provided by the All Sindh Saraf Jewellers Association, the price of 10-gram of 24k gold also increased by Rs643 and was sold for Rs93,707 at the closing of trade as opposed to Rs93,064 reported yesterday.

However, silver rates remained flat at Rs1,420 per tola. The price of 10 grams of silver also stood the same at Rs1,217.42.

The demand for yellow metal witnessed an increase in the international market as the price of gold moved up by $9 and traded at $1,879per ounce against $1,870 per ounce recorded yesterday, while silver was valued at $27.80 an ounce.
