Gold rates climb further by Rs500 to stand at Rs10,600

May 8, 2021(MLN): The price of gold continued to witness increase today in the domestic bullion market, as the price of 24 karat gold jumped by Rs500 to close at Rs106,000 per tola against the price of Rs105,500 per tola reported in the previous session.

According to the data provided by the All Sindh Saraf Jewellers Association, the price of 10-gram of 24k gold also increased by Rs428 and was sold for Rs90,878 at the closing of trade as opposed to Rs90,450 reported yesterday.

However, silver rates remained unchanged at Rs1,380 per tola. The price of 10 grams of silver also stood the same at Rs1,183.12.

In the international market, the gold prices went up by $11 and traded at $1,831per ounce against $1,820 per ounce recorded yesterday, while silver was valued at $27.47 an ounce.
