Gold prices recover to Rs108,300 per tola

August 11, 2021 (MLN): Gold prices inched higher today in local bullion market as the price of per 24-karat per tola gold observed an increase of Rs700 to stand at Rs108,300 per tola against its sale at Rs107,600 per tola the previous day.

Likewise, the price of 10-gram 24 karat also inclined by Rs600 and was sold at Rs92,850 while that of ten-gram 22 karat traded at Rs85,122 as per Karachi Sarafa and Jewellers Association reported.

On the other hand, the price of 24-karat silver and the price of 10-gram silver remained static at Rs1400 and Rs1200.27, respectively.

Internationally, gold rates recovered as the demand for the yellow metal was up by $7 to close at $1,737, while silver was traded at $23.45 an ounce.
