Gold prices continue to extend by Rs800 to close at Rs107,250

May 18, 2021 (MLN): The yellow metal on Tuesday gained in the domestic bullion market as the price of 24 karat per tola gold increased by Rs800 and was available at Rs107,250 against the sale price of Rs106,450 reported yesterday.

According to the data released by Karachi Sarafa Association, the price of ten-gram 24 karat gold also witnessed an increase of Rs686 and was traded at Rs91,950 against the price of Rs91,264 reported in the previous session.

On the contrary, the price of per tola silver and ten-gram silver remained unchanged at Rs1,420 and Rs1,217.42, respectively.

The gold price in the global market jumped by $17 and was sold at US $1,866 per ounce against the previous day’s rate of $1,773 per ounce, while silver was valued at $28.45 per ounce, the association reported.
