Gold price surges further by Rs.1,500 per tola

April 2, 2021 (MLN):  Gold prices extended gains on Friday in domestic bullion markets. The price of 24 karat gold surged by Rs.1,500 to Rs.106,000 per tola. Likewise, the price of 10-gram gold also witnessed an increase of Rs.1,286 to settle at Rs.90,878 against the previous close of Rs 89,592 per gram.

According to the data provided by the All Sindh Saraf Jewellers Association, the price of 24-karat silver also edged higher by Rs.19 to Rs.1,360 per tola. Similarly, the price of 10-gram silver was recorded at Rs.1,165.98, down by Rs 34.30 compared to yesterday’s close of Rs.1,131.68 per gram.

The gold prices in the international market also went up by US$19 and traded at US$1,731 while silver was valued at US$25, the association reported.
