Gold price in Pakistan falls Rs3,300 per tola

February 27, 2025 (MLN): Gold price in Pakistan decreased on Thursday, with 24-karat gold being sold at Rs303,000 per tola, down Rs3,300.

Similarly, 24-karat gold per 10-gram was sold at Rs259,773 after a decline of Rs2,829, according to rates shared by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).

The price of 22-karat gold was also quoted lower at Rs238,133 per 10-gram.

On the other hand, silver prices remained unchanged in the domestic market, with 24-karat silver being sold at Rs3,314 per tola and Rs2,841 per 10-gram.

Globally, spot gold traded near $2,885 an ounce, down $34.2 or 1.17% from the previous session.

Gold prices fell over 1% to their lowest level in more than a week on Thursday, as the U.S. dollar firmed, while investors awaited a key inflation print that could offer clues on the Federal Reserve's monetary policy.
