Gold price gains by Rs400 to Rs104,000 per tola

April 21, 2021 (MLN): The yellow metal on Wednesday gained in the domestic bullion market as the price of 24 karat per tola gold increased by Rs400 and was available at Rs104,000 against the sale price of Rs103,600 reported yesterday.

According to the data released by Karachi Sarafa Association, the price of ten-gram 24 karat gold also inclined by Rs343 and was traded at Rs89,163 against the price of Rs88,820 reported in the previous session.

On the contrary, the price of per tola silver and ten-gram silver remained unchanged at Rs1,350 and Rs1,157.40, respectively.

Internationally, yellow metal rose amid falling US bond yields. The gold price in the global market jumped by $8 and was sold at US $1,781 per ounce against the previous day’s rate of $1,773 per ounce, while silver was valued at $25.92 per ounce, the association reported.
