Gold price falls by Rs 1,100 per tola on Wednesday

March 3, 2021 (MLN): Gold dropped significantly on Wednesday as the per tola price of 24 karat gold in the domestic bullion market was available at Rs 106,100 per tola, i.e. Rs 1,100 down as compared to Rs 107,200 reported yesterday.

Likewise, 10-grams of 24 karat gold witnessed a fall of Rs 943 to settle at Rs 90,964 as opposed to the previous close of Rs 91,907, data provided by All Sindh Sarah Jewellers Association revealed.

The per tola price of 24-karat silver and 10-gram of 24-karat silver fell by Rs 20 and Rs 17.12 to Rs 1,360 and Rs 1,166, respectively. 

In the international market, gold price dropped by USD 7 and was available at USD 1,723 per ounce against USD 1,730 an ounce in the previous session, while silver was valued at Rs 26.55 an ounce, the association reported.
