Gold price drops by Rs 900 per tola on Wednesday

February 17, 2021 (MLN): Gold rates dropped on Wednesday in the domestic bullion market, as the price of a single tola of 24-karat gold fell by Rs 900 and was sold for Rs 110,300 against the price of Rs 111,200 reported in the previous session.

Likewise, 10 grams of 24k gold also witnessed a decline of Rs 772 to settle at Rs 94,564 against the previous close of Rs 95,336, data provided by the All Sindh Saraf Jewellers Association revealed.

However, the price of 24-Karat silver and 10-gram of silver remained static at 1,380 and Rs 1,183.12 respectively.

In the International market, the price of gold plummeted by USD 34 and was traded at USD 1,789 an ounce against USD 1,823 an ounce in the last session, while silver was valued at 27.07 an ounce, the association reported.
