Gold price drops by Rs.450 to Rs.104,000 per tola

April 06, 2021 (MLN): Gold prices extended losses on Tuesday in the domestic bullion market. The price of 24 karat gold dropped by Rs.450 to Rs.104,000 per tola. Likewise, the price of 10-gram gold also witnessed a dip of Rs.387 to settle at Rs.89,163 against the previous close of Rs.89,550 per gram.

According to the data provided by the All Sindh Saraf Jewellers Association, the single tola of 24-karat silver and 10-gram of 24-karat silver remained static at Rs.1,360 per tola and Rs.1,165.98 per gram respectively.

Unlike the domestic market, the yellow metal price went up by US$9 and traded at US$1,735 an ounce in the international market amid weakness in US dollar and Treasury yields while silver was valued at US$25 per ounce, the association reported.
