Gold nosedives by Rs2,850 in domestic bullion

November 17, 2021 (MLN): Continuing its downward journey, the price of 24-karat gold in the domestic bullion fell by Rs2,850 to close at Rs122,000 per tola on Wednesday.

According to the data provided by Karachi Sarafa and Jewellers Association, the price of 10-gram of 24k gold also declined by Rs2,444 and was traded at Rs104,595 while the 10gm 22k gold was valued at Rs95,880.

Similarly, the price of 24-karat silver and 10-gram of 24-karat silver also dropped by Rs30 and Rs25.72 to stand at Rs1,440 and Rs1,234.56, respectively.

On the other hand, the safe-haven gold witnessed a sharp rise of $12 to $1,862 an ounce on the back of rising concerns about inflation while silver was traded at $25.10 an ounce.
