Gold moves up by Rs500 to close at Rs110,000 per tola

August 24, 2021 (MLN): Gold rates in domestic bullion market increased today as the price of of 24 karat per tola gold jumped by Rs500 and traded at Rs110,000, against its sale at Rs109,500 per tola the previous day.

Likewise, the price of 10-gram 24 karat gold also moved up by Rs428 to stand at 94,307 while 10-gram 22 karat gold was traded at Rs86,448, as per data provided by All Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association.

In addition, the price of 24-Karat silver per tola and 10-gram silver also inched up by Rs30 and Rs25.73 to trade at Rs1,430 and Rs1,226, respectively.

Internationally, the demand for yellow metal edged higher by $14 to reach $1,806 per ounce, consolidated above $1,800 while silver was traded at $23.78 an ounce.
