Gold loses value by Rs 250 per tola on Friday

February 19, 2021 (MLN): Gold prices in the domestic billion market extended losses on Friday, as the per tola price of 24 karat gold plunged further by Rs 250 and settled at Rs 109,950 against the price of Rs 110,200 reported yesterday.

Likewise, 10-grams of 24 karat gold fell by Rs 214 to settle at Rs 94,264 against the previous close of RS 94,478, data provided by All Sindh Sarah Jewellers Association revealed.

However, the price of single tola 24-karat silver and 10-gram of 24-karat silver remained static at Rs 1,380 and Rs 1,183.12 respectively.

In the international market, the price of gold plummeted by USD 13 and was available at USD 1,772 an ounce against USD 1,785 an ounce on the previous session, while silver was valued at Rs 27.05 an ounce, the associated reported.
