Gold inches up by Rs350 to trade at Rs111,000

August 30, 2021 (MLN): The demand for yellow metal a slight increment in the local bullion market as the price of 24 karat per tola gold jumped by Rs350 and traded at Rs111,000, against its previous sale at Rs110,650 per tola.

Likewise, the price of 10-gram 24 karat gold also moved up by Rs300 to stand at 95,165 while 10-gram 22 karat gold was traded at Rs87,234, as per data provided by All Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association.

On the other hand, the price of silver also remained static as 24-Karat silver and 10-gram of silver were available at Rs1,430 per tola and Rs1,226, respectively.

Amid cautious behavior of investors on the back of Powell’s speech, gold witnessed no change in the international market and traded at $1,817 while, the silver was valued at Rs24.14.
