Gold inches up by Rs 100 to Rs 104,100 per tola

April 8, 2021 (MLN):  Gold price on Thursday edged higher by Rs 100 to settle at Rs 104,100 per tola in the domestic bullion market. The valuable yellow metal had closed at Rs 104,000 per tola on the previous trading day.

According to the latest figures provided by All Sindh Saraf Jewellers Association, the price of 10-gram 24 karat gold inched up by Rs 86 to close at Rs 89,249.

However, no change was recorded in the prices of per tola and ten-gram silver, which were available at Rs 1,360 and Rs 1,165.98 respectively.

On the global front, gold prices went up by $12 to $1,784 per ounce, while silver was valued at $25.38 per ounce which increased by $0.36 when compared to yesterday’s price.
