Gold climbs up by Rs2,000 to trade at Rs124,000 per tola

November 18, 2021 (MLN): Snapping its losing streak, gold gained notable value in the domestic bullion today as the price of 24-karat gold surged by Rs2,000 to close at Rs124,000 per tola.

According to the data provided by Karachi Sarafa and Jewellers Association, the price of 10-gram of 24k gold also increased by Rs1,715 and was traded at Rs106,310 while the 10gm 22k gold was valued at Rs97,451.

On the other hand, the price of 24-karat silver and 10-gram of 24-karat silver remained unchanged at Rs1,440 and Rs1,234.56 respectively.

Internationally, the yellow metal remained steady, witnessing a meager drop of $2 to $1,860 an ounce on the uncertainty over the interest rate’s surge by the central bank to curb growing inflation while silver was traded at $25 an ounce.
