Gilgit-Baltistan to construct several rest houses to facilitate tourism

In Gilgit-Baltistan, the government is constructing a number of rest houses to facilitate tourist.

A spokesman of the Works Department told our Gilgit correspondent today that reconstruction work of Phander Rest House project costing 60 million rupees would be started very soon.

He said construction of three new rest houses situated at Immit, Gupis and Teroo is also in progress.

The projects would be completed at a cost of 25 million rupees by June next year.

Meanwhile, a tourist resort at a cost of 45 million rupees at Phander Valley will also be constructed soon to promote tourism in Gilgit-Baltistan.
