GCIL’s OGRA license application still pending

February 14, 2025 (MLN): Ghani Chemical Industry Limited (PSX: GCIL) applied to the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) in March 2024 for registration and issuance of a license, but the approval remains pending.

The approval is contingent on the submission of the Gas Sale Purchase Agreement, which has already been signed with Mari Energies Limited (PSX: MARI) and Oil & Gas Development Company Limited (PSX: OGDC), along with other necessary documentation, the company's filing on PSX revealed today.

However, the execution of this agreement is subject to compliance with all regulatory requirements set by OGRA and other relevant authorities, as outlined in the agreement.
