SBP reserves decreases by $327mn to 7.5bn

December 1, 2022 (MLN): Foreign exchange reserves held by the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) decreased by $327 million to $7.50billion during the week ended on 25 Nov’22, according to the data released by the Central bank on Thursday.

Reserves held by the commercial bank increased by $60.2mn to $5.88bn.

Meanwhile, the total reserves held by the country decreased by $266.8mn to $13.38bn.

It is important to note that, the current level of foreign currency reserves is barely enough to cover 1.43 months of import bills.
