FBR records 1.8 mln income tax filers in a year for first time in history

April 2, 2019 (MLN): Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has crossed the mark of 1.8 million Income Tax filers for Tax year 2018 for the first time in its history, announced the organization on its official web page, yesterday.

Pleased with this achievement, FBR promised to “continue with its efforts of creating awareness about the importance of paying taxes not only as a civic duty but also for the growth of the economy.”

The announcement further added that, “The institution is devoted to facilitating the public in helping to not only fulfill their tax obligations but also to create an enabling environment that fosters economic growth.”
