Exports Increase by 16.44 percent Over the year

August 09, 2021 (MLN): Pakistan's trade deficit for the month of July 2021 was recorded at USD 3.104 billion compared to a deficit of USD3.624 billion from June 2021 showing an improvement of 14.35 percent.

Compared to July 2020 deficit of USD 1.673 billion, the trade numbers deteriorated by 85.53 percent.

Exports decreased by 14.59 percent to USD 2.33 billion compared to USD 2.728 billion in June 2021.

However, compared to July 2020 exports increased by 16.44 percent.

Imports in July 2021 decreased by 14.45 percent, clocking in at USD 5.434 billion compared to USD 6.352 billion in June 2021 while they increased by 47.9 percent when compared to July 2020.
