ECC to review OMCs and Dealers Margins on Petroleum Products

March 9, 2021 (MLN): A meeting of Economic Coordination Committee (ECC) of te Cabinet will be held on Wednesday , March 10, 2021, with the Minister for Finance and Revenue, Abdul Hafeez Shaikh in the Chair.

According to a notification issued by the Govt, the following agendas will be discussed during the meeting;

  • Technical Supplementary Grant (TSG) for World Bank funded projects related to COVID-19 situation
  • Allocation of funds amounting to Rs 1,500 billion through TSG under Demand No. “76-Other Expenditure of Housing & Works Division” for the CFY 2020-21 in respect of Prime Minister’s low-cost housing scheme
  • Allocation of Funds through Supplementary Grant
  • Ramzan Relief Package – 2021
  • Urea Fertilizer Requirement for 2021
  • Import of cotton from Torkham Border
  • Review of the Oil Marketing Companies (OMCs) and Dealers Margins on Petroleum Products
  • Release of Power Sector Subsidy for FY 2020-21
  • GoP Sovereign Guarantee against Financing Facility of PKR 15,250 million from Local Banks for Evacuation of Power from 2×660 MW Thar Coal Based Project (SSRL/SECL)
  • Decision of the Authority in the matter of Fuel Charges Adjustment for the Months of November 2019 to June 2020 for DISCOs
  • Outstanding Dues and Tariffs issues with AJ&K Government
  • GENCO-Wise/Plant-Wise Pensioners & Employee Cost
  • Decision of ECC meeting held on January 20, 2021 pertaining to National Freight and Logistics Policy (NFLP) of Pakistan
