ECC to discuss KE’s outstanding payables and receivables

May 18, 2021 (MLN): The Economic Coordination Committee (ECC) of the Cabinet, in its meeting which is scheduled to take place on Wednesday, 19th May, 2021, will be discussing the matter regarding KE’s outstanding payables and receivables and the grant of National Security Certificates (NSC).

Besides, the other important agendas for this meeting comprise of the following points:

  • Allocation of technical supplementary grant (TSG) amounting to Rs100million under development budget demand no. 158 of Ministry of Defence Production for Project management Cell for Gwadar Shipyard
  • Additional funds under demand no. “188-capital outlay on civil works” during the current financial year (2020-21) in respect of development schemes of Ministry of Housing and Works
  • Technical supplementary grant (TSG) Rs85mn for payment of court fee in case Dr. Hilal Hussain Al Tuwariqi and Al Ittefaq Steel products Company Limited Vs the Islamic Republic of Pakistan
  • Approval of technical supplementary grant (TSG) during CFY for supply of gas to Allama Iqbal Industrial city Special Economic Zone (SEZ)
  • Launching of 2nd phase of Ehsas Emergency Cash
  • Exemption from minimum turnover tax under Special Economic Zones (SEZs) Act 2012
  • Gas allocation to third parties from Well NFHOR-1 (RE)
  • Condonation of delay of late shipment of vehicles imported by overseas Pakistanis
