June 10, 2019 (MLN): The Pakistani Rupee (PKR) opened today’s interbank session at 149/150, i.e. 40 paisa weaker than previous session’s closing quote of 148.60 per US Dollar (USD).

The US Dollar was quoted as high as 150.75/151.25 and is currently being quoted at at 150.50/151.

This volatility is a result of heightened demand for Dollars, as forex market has opened after almost a week and there are pending payments along with slowing in post Ramadan remittances.
