Jun 11, 2020 (MNL): The KSE100 index remained range bound today ended the trading session with a 63.50 point or 0.18 percent gain to close at 35,128.58.

The Index traded in a range of 250.91 points or 0.72 percent of previous close, showing an intraday high of 35,247.57 and a low of 34,996.66.

Of the 96 traded companies in the KSE100 Index 55 closed up 38 closed down, while 3 remained unchanged. Total volume traded for the index was 145.26 million shares.

Sectors propping up the index were Fertilizer with 60 points, Cement with 44 points, Inv. Banks / Inv. Cos. / Securities Cos. with 24 points, Textile Composite with 19 points and Automobile Assembler with 10 points.

The most points added to the index was by DAWH which contributed 27 points followed by FFC with 25 points, LUCK with 25 points, MEBL with 20 points and ENGRO with 20 points.

Sector wise, the index was let down by Oil & Gas Exploration Companies with 46 points, Commercial Banks with 36 points, Food & Personal Care Products with 23 points, Oil & Gas Marketing Companies with 11 points and Insurance with 3 points.

The most points taken off the index was by UBL which stripped the index of 32 points followed by HBL with 24 points, OGDC with 22 points, NESTLE with 18 points and PPL with 15 points.

All Share Volume increased by 51.97 Million to 270.63 Million Shares. Market Cap increased by Rs.3.28 Billion.

Total companies traded were 371 compared to 371 from the previous session. Of the scrips traded 210 closed up, 131 closed down while 30 remained unchanged.

Total trades increased by 7,242 to 102,018.

Value Traded increased by 0.71 Billion to Rs.8.67 Billion
