CDC, NCCPL to conduct joint “Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery” exercise tomorrow

September 08, 2022 (MLN): Central Depository Company (CDC) and National Clearing Company of Pakistan Limited (NCCPL) will conduct joint Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery exercise from their respective Alternate Processing Site (APS) on Friday i.e. September 09, 2022, notice by NCCPL said on Thursday.

Both CDC and NCCPL services will be unavailable between 12:00 pm and 1:45 pm, as services would be shifted to respective DR sites.

This joint exercise is a reinforcement of the collective capacity of the two capital market infrastructure entities to provide reliable and uninterrupted services in case of any eventuality.

All CDC and NCCPL business applications will connect to their alternate processing sites automatically; however, clients are advised to reconnect their respective VPNs for smooth services.

The notice further added that no changes are expected at the client-end during this exercise and clients will connect to APS transparently.
