CCoE approves National Electricity Policy

April 22, 2021 (MLN): The Cabinet Committee on Energy (CCOE) Thursday, approved the “National Electricity Policy” in order to provide the basis for a sustainable competitive electricity market that promotes renewable energy and indigenous resources.

The decision came at a meeting of the CCOE held under the chairmanship of the Federal Minister for Planning, Development, and Special Initiatives Asad Umar.
