Attock Cement Pakistan Limited (ACPL) today announced financial results for the nine months period ending 31 March, 2018 reporting Net Sales worth Rs. 12.142 billion. Furthermore, the company’s gross profit during the outgoing nine months fell by 13 percent to reach 3.979 billion.
ACPL releases on the exchange show a very dismal performance during the last nine months. Cost of Goods Sold during the period went up by 22.4 percent much higher than the growth in Net Sales.
On the expenses front, Distribution costs went up by 1.59 percent, Administrative Costs went up by 11.38 percent, and on the other hand Other Operating Costs went down by 48 percent taking away a sum of 1.33 billion from the bottom line.
In other important numbers, other operating income also took a fall of more than 65.61 percent, coupled with the 732.90 percent jump in financing costs. This brought down the bottom line profits by 18.39 percent to 1.826 billion during the outgoing nine months against 2.238 billion during the same period last month. ACPL reported an EPS of Rs. 15.95 vs. an EPS of Rs 19.55 during the nine months ending March, 2017.
