ADB forecasts pace of economy to be slower in Asian region

December 11, 2019 (MLN): The Asian Development Bank (ADB), in its flagship economic publication Asian Development Outlook has forecasted that the pace of the economy will be slower in the Asian region. In the current year, the economy in Developing Asia is forecasted to be slower to 5.2%.

According to the new Asian Development outlook released today, China’s Economic growth will be 6.1%.

As per the report, Pakistan economy is stabilizing and is expected to perform well in the current fiscal year. Pakistan economy showed growth of 3.3% in the year ended June 30, 2019.

The report further updated that inflation is likely to increase in developing Asia. In Pakistan, inflation recorded an increase of 10 per cent in the first three months of the current fiscal year.
