August 16, 2026 (MLN): Federal Secretary Finance Imdad Ullah Bosal has been conferred the prestigious Hilal-i-Imtiaz in recognition of his distinguished public service and contributions to Pakistan.

The national honour recognizes Bosal’s dedication, professionalism, and commitment to public service, as well as his contributions during his tenure in the government’s economic and financial affairs.

The Hilal-i-Imtiaz is one of Pakistan’s highest civilian awards and is conferred upon individuals in recognition of distinguished services and outstanding contributions to the country.

The honour was announced on Independence Day, August 14, 2026, with the investiture ceremony scheduled to be held on Pakistan Day, March 23, 2027.

The Ministry of Finance has extended its heartfelt congratulations to Imdad Ullah Bosal on receiving the prestigious national honour, describing it as a well-deserved recognition of his dedication and service to Pakistan.
