Bolan Castings halts production activities on reduced demand

August 31, 2022 (MLN): The management of Bolan Castings Limited (BCL) has decided to temporarily halt the production activities of the company from September 01, 2022, to September 13, 2022, as the tractors’ deliveries have been adversely affected due to reduced demand for tractors’ castings amid flash floods.

In a notice to exchange, the company said: “In view of the devastating flood, the road and farm infrastructures of the country have badly damaged due to which the tractors deliveries have been adversely affected. This has in turn drastically reduced the demand for tractors' castings.”

Therefore, the company decided to temporarily halt production activities.
