Registration of 53,923 farmers have been completed in the first phase for issuing Kisan Cards to provide them agriculture tools on subsidized rates. DD Agriculture (Extension) Shabbir Afzal Warraich said here Friday that data of 20,670 more farmers has so far been collected under the second phase during the current year.

He said that 29,406 soil samples against the fixed target of 47,200 samples have also been collected for analysis in the district during current year.
